Business rule. If there is more than one lawyer in your firm, you might find yourself dealing with interns and an H.R. Department. These sometimes come disguised as helpers or associates. They requires a lot of care and feeding. The more people in your organization, the more bureaucracy is created. You don’t want a bureaucracy. Lawyers deal with enough of that in their practice. My solo practice is where I go to avoid bureaucrats.
