USCIS Reverses Itself on Dec. 29, 2022, End-of-Year Filing Requirements for Certain Forms

On Dec. 23, 2022, USCIS posted an Alert indicating that Dec. 29, 2022, is no longer the deadline to file new Forms I-956 and I-956G. USCIS now indicates that neither of these forms will be required to be submitted until the agency publishes guidance that clarifies the requirements for these forms. Issues pertaining to the two forms and which entities would be required to file such forms out of the Behring litigation which resulted in reinstatement of pre-March 2022 Regional Center designations.
