The Vikings Roster after 53-Man Trimdown Deadline
After a flurry of waivers, releases, injury designations, and trades, the Minnesota Vikings trimmed the roster to 53 players on Tuesday, in accordance with the NFL’s mandated timeline.
Notably, Minnesota released starting defender Armon Watts, traded for Ross Blacklock from the Houston Texans, and sent OT Jesse Davis to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
While the 53-man roster can change significantly before Week 1, this is how it stands at the roster-trimdown deadline.
