Teen Boy Stabbed Near Park in San Ysidro

A 16-year-old boy was attacked and stabbed near a park in San Ysidro late Sunday night, according to San Diego Police.

The boy was near E. Park Avenue when a group of unidentified teenagers attacked him and then stabbed him multiple times in the back, according to media reports.

The teen was taken to UC San Diego Medical Center and did not appear to suffer life-threatening injuries, according to ABC 10 News.

Officers with SDPD detained and questioned several teens about a block away from where the attack occurred, ABC 10 reported, but it was unclear if they were involved in the incident.
