On September 30, President Biden signed the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) Extension Act of 2022, reauthorizing the SBIR and STTR programs through September 30, 2025.
The reauthorization brings about some long sought-after changes to address alleged “SBIR mills.” It also introduces a due diligence program assessing security risks and clawback provisions related to national security risks.
