Primark has unveiled a second fashion range in collaboration with high street bakery chain Greggs, after the partnership proved a success earlier this year.

The 21-piece festival collection will include cycle shorts, bodysuits, basketball jerseys, varsity jackets and new footwear including sliders and clogs.

The brands have also brought back items from the first collection including the Greggs bucket hat and underwear, as well as bumbags and sliders.

Primark and Greggs are launching the collection with a limited pre-sale of selected items and mini-festival experience via the ‘Snackfest’ bus which will stop off at five locations:

Brighton: Jubilee Square, 27 July, 11am – 5pm
Manchester: Cathedral Gardens, 29 July, 11am – 5pm
Liverpool: Liverpool One Paradise Place, 31 July, 11am – 5pm
Glasgow: Argyle St, 2 August, 11am – 5pm
Newcastle: Northumberland St, 4 August 11am – 5pm

Visitors will have the chance to purchase selected items from the new collection at the pop-up before it becomes available to the general public.

The ‘Snackfest’ tour bus will also feature live music, competitions and special guest appearances.

“I believe the best partnerships in fashion are those that are blindingly obvious but never boring or predictable,” Primark head of innovation, Jermaine Lapwood said.

“In a world of collaborations, it is important that we stand out and be different.

“As part of this drop, for the first time in Primark history we are taking the collection on the road and fans will be able to get early access to our own ‘Snackfest’ tour bus which will pop up across the UK. Keep a look out for some top secret special guest performances and fun competitions.”

Greggs customer director, Hannah Squirrell said: “The reaction to our first official Greggs clothing collection was incredible and sold out even faster than we anticipated.

“We’re excited to team up with Primark once again to deliver more fun and unique pieces that Greggs fans will wear with pride across the summer and beyond.”
