Law.com reports Senate Confirms Roopali Desai as 1st South Asian Judge on 9th Circuit — Desai, a partner at Coppersmith Brockelman, was confirmed in a 67-29 vote, “making her the first South Asian judge to sit on the country’s largest federal appeals court.” (See 9th Cir. News Release.)
