My JD at McGeorge School of Law allowed me to make a difference in my community as a judge

Ever since she was a little girl, the Hon. Consuelo María Callahan always wanted to help people and serve her country. After coming to McGeorge School of Law to get a JD, becoming a commissioner and Superior Court Judge, to a Justice on the State Court of Appeal, and finally on the U.S Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, Callahan was able to do just that. “It’s a very powerful way to make a difference,” Callahan said. “And it’s a very powerful way you can vindicate rights.”
