M&S has hired ex-Topshop buying director Emma Fox as head of buying for womenswear.
Fox, currently head of buying for The White Company, was buying director at Topshop between 2015 and 2020.
Prior to this she was buying director at Asos from 2011 to 2015.
Fox will report into Maddy Evans, who was promoted to director of womenswear earlier this year. Evans was also previously head of buying for womenswear at Topshop.

Meanwhile, Annie Dore will be joining the business as a business lead for womenswear, footwear, accessories and holiday from 12 September, according to Drapers.
Dore joins from New Look where she has been head of buying since 2015. She has also held several roles at other high street multiples, including Dorothy Perkins.
M&S has been revamping its womenswear category and, in separate news, continues to push forward with plans for its former Marble Arch flagship.
