Matchesfashion has poached Frasers Group head of luxury brands Carl Tallents as the company’s new chief commercial officer.

Tallents will join office and begin his role for the fashion retailer in October.

He has joined from Sports Direct owner Fraser Group, where he currently serves as head of luxury brands, a role he has held for the past six years.

Prior to this, Tallents was the head of brand at luxury retailer Flannels.
