Man, 38, Dies From Gunshot Wound in Lemon Grove, Search for Suspect

A search was continuing Monday for the person who gunned down a 38-year-old man in Lemon Grove.

San Diego County Sheriff’s deputies responded around 8 p.m. Sunday to reports of shots fired in the 2200 block of Washington Street.

The victim was found with a gunshot wound to the head, and pronounced dead at the scene, officials said. The person was not immediately identified.

There also was no information on a suspect description or what may have led to the shooting.
