Kirko Chains Has Evolved into Kirko Suits

Kirk Cousins Is Really Starting to Let His Hair Down

When the Vikings were completing comeback wins on the road, it became a viral trend for the team to ice their QB out with chains on the team plane. Well, the Vikings starting QB may have reached a new level. Kirko Chains has evolved into Kirko Suits after the Vikings 33-point comeback win over the Indianapolis Colts. Following the game, the Vikings QB1 was seen rocking a custom Vikings suit at the postgame press conference.

The lore of Kirko Chains began across the pond. Christian Darrisaw gave Cousins his chain following the Week 4 victory over the New Orleans Saints in London. Cousins led a game-winning field goal drive, and Wil Lutz was unable to hit a 60-yarder to steal the win from Minnesota.

Then, two weeks later, the Vikings headed down south to Miami to take on the Dolphins, and with another comeback victory, Cousins was once again iced out on the team plane. This time it was paired with shades and a tucked-in plain white t-shirt. Kirk Cousins had evolved from his Week 1 status of plaid dad all the way to cool dad.

Then, just a couple weeks later, the Vikings traveled to Washington to take on the Commanders for Cousins’ first game back at his old stomping grounds. In that game, the Vikings, led once again by terrific play from their QB, Minnesota overcame a 10-point deficit. Then on the plane, well, things got crazy for Kirko Chains.

When the Vikings made their ridiculous 4th quarter comeback against the Bills, another appearance of Kirko Chains was expected, but he abruptly retired his chains for that game. Then, on Thanksgiving, he hinted at the possibility of Kirko Grillz.

Grilled-out Kirk may still be in the works, but for now, Kirko Suits will have to do. I for one, am here for it.
