We have all lost a champion of justice in the passing of Jan Peterson. Jan was a great trial lawyer who used his trial skills for the benefit of the injured in Washington. He was a leader in our profession, serving as the president of the Washington State Trial Lawyers Association, the president of the Washington State Bar Association, and the president of the Damage Attorneys Round Table. His mark on our justice system will be long remembered, and it is incumbent on all of us to pick up that mantle and continue to move the ball forward to attain justice for all.
And Jan was our dear friend. He will be missed by so many. Rest in peace, friend.
