Immigration and the New Congress – GT Leads Events This Week

[ad_1]

GT continues to lead efforts on Immigration Reform. This week, GT attorneys and clients came to Washington, D.C. to support the National Immigration Forum’s efforts to achieve an immigration solution across the board. The Forum’s Leading the Way event is a multiday gathering that brings influential speakers from a variety of backgrounds to engage in critical conversations about one of the most pressing challenges our country faces — immigration. The event included key constituency meetings, visits with Congressional offices, high profile speakers, and the Forum’s annual Keepers of the American Dream awards reception, honoring leaders and organizations making their community and our country a better place for immigrants.

Laura Reiff, former chair of the National Immigration Forum and current America is Better board chair attended all events with clients and led a discussion of the current election and its impact on the immigration debate.
