H&M will be placing customer experience and sustainability at the heart of its new Lakeside store which is set to open September 29th.
H&M Lakeside will “offer a world leading interior look and feel for the brand” and “will be a country leading store for the brand” said H&M UK & Ireland Country Manager Henrik Nordvall.
“The store will create a welcoming, modern and meaningful shopping experience where style, creativity and culture are celebrated.”
The fashion retailer’s store will house a lower volume of products which will be displayed in a curated and way and those who visit will notice a warmer and more welcoming store enviroment.

H&M said that “with sustainability at the heart of its business model,” it continues to lead the “transition to circular, climate positive fashion,” adding that these values will be built into the foundation of the new Lakeside store which will offer H&M’s Garment Collection and Recycling service.
Launched in 2013, H&M’s Garment Collection and Recyling scheme allows customers to donate any unwanted clothes and textiles, by any brand, while shopping in-store. ensuring no items end up in landfills.
In a bid to encourage customers to use their Garment Collection programme, H&M offers conscious points in addition to a digital voucher.
Henrik Nordvall said: “We can’t wait to re-open our Lakeside store this month. It is always our aim to offer our customers a modern and meaningful shopping experience and by introducing H&M HOME, along with our Ladies, Mens, Divided, Kids and Accessories ranges, we are confident that our new Lakeside store will offer exactly this.”
