Eager to get a taste of hades at the new Hell’s Kitchen? You’re not alone.

The new restaurant by celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay, which opens late Friday afternoon at Harrah’s Southern California Resort, is all booked up through early fall.

According to Open Table, the restaurant reservation site, the hot spot has no openings through October – unless you opt for a later hour, say after 8 p.m. Then you can get in by Sept. 27.

The concept for Hell’s Kitchen is based on the long-running Fox network culinary competition series on which Ramsay acts as the toughest of task masters to light a fire under aspiring head chefs.

The San Diego County site, one of three in the Hell’s Kitchen chain, will be the biggest yet and feature a full-service restaurant, exhibition kitchen and plush lounge. The other locations are in Las Vegas and Lake Tahoe, though Ramsay runs other eateries, including Ramsay’s Kitchen and Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill.

The resort, in Valley Center, or as some folks like to call it “Funner, CA,” is owned by the Rincon tribe. Rincon chairman Bo Mazzetti called Hell’s Kitchen a “one-of-a-kind culinary adventure.”

Want to give someone hell at Hell’s Kitchen? Of course you’d never. You’re no Gordon. But the head chef is Redentor Ramos and the restaurant general manager is Sarah Ertmann.

Try to book your slot now. The restaurant will be open seven days a week for dinner – from 4 to 10 p.m. Sunday to Thursday, with extended hours on Friday and Saturday, to 11 p.m.
