Gymshark to open Regent Street store on October 1st
// Gymshark regent street will open next month
// New features include The Sweat Room, The Pro Bench and Joe & the Juice

Gymshark has revealed that the doors to its highly anticipated flagship store at 165 Regent Street will open on Saturday 1st October.

The gym wear giant‘s first-ever permanent bricks-and-mortar 18,000sq store will feature a sweat room, pro brench where experts will offer up fitness advice and more.

The retailer said that while the store will sell Gymshark merch and apparel, it will be “a place for our community to experience the essence of Gymshark”.

In a statement, the business said, “despite many forecasting the death of the high street and bricks & mortar in retail, we don’t buy into that.”

“We’re bullish on its future and we are determined to prove it. So, in December 2021, we announced that we would be taking over 18,000 square feet at 165 Regent Street. Since then, we’ve been working tirelessly to create a store that will live long in the memory for all those that come to visit. The store was also designed and built with sustainability at its heart, in line with our commitment to the communities we operate in.”

Gymshark chief executive and founder Ben Francis said: “I keep having to pinch myself that we’re going to have a flagship store on one of the most prestigious streets in the world. And now, we have an opening date, it’s all getting very real.

“The team have done an absolutely incredible job creating a store like no other and the experiences are going to be unbelievable. But what I’m most excited about, especially after the past couple of years, is that we get to hang out with our amazing community on a daily basis. I cannot wait.”
