The GM North American Heritage Collection in Sterling Heights, Mich., announced on its website that it recently added five Chevrolet concept vehicles to its collection of approximately 600 cars and trucks. The additions include the 1962 Chevrolet Corvair Monza GT, the 1963 Chevrolet Corvair Monza SS, the 1967 Chevrolet Astro I, the 1968 Chevrolet Astro II and the three-wheeled 1968 Chevrolet Astro III. All of the concepts are rear-engined, and the 1962, 1963 and 1967 concepts are each air-cooled, as on a Corvair. Each is far more aerodynamic than a production Corvair, however.
