[ad_1]

The FCC’s Media Bureau and Office of Economics and Analytics have announced that the first quarter 2022 inflation factor for cable operators using FCC rate regulation Form 1240 is 8.19%.  This quarterly inflation adjustment figure is a measure of the annualized change in prices occurring over the period from January 1, 2022 to March 31, 2022.

Each quarter, the FCC releases a new inflation factor for operators using FCC Form 1240 based on changes in the Gross National Product Price Index (GNP-PI) published by the Department of Commerce’s Bureau of Economic Analysis.  The quarterly inflation factors for Form 1240 are posted on the FCC’s website.
