FCC Proposes Fine Against Q Link for Improper EBB Program Disbursements

The FCC’s Enforcement Bureau has issued a Notice of Apparent Liability proposing forfeitures of $62 million against Q Link Wireless LLC for apparently violating the FCC’s rules governing Emergency Broadband Benefit program reimbursements.  The NAL alleges that Q Link overclaimed support for hundreds of thousands of internet-connected devices through the EBB program, obtaining approximately $20.8 million via improper disbursements between December 2021 and March 2022.
