Driver Killed in Fiery Crash in Vista

 Authorities said Friday a driver was killed in a fiery crash in Vista.

The single-car crash happened around 9:45 p.m. Thursday night in an area near South Santa Fe Avenue and Buena Creek Road, according to California Highway Patrol.

The driver of Honda Civic lost control on a curve, causing the vehicle to smash through a fence, crash into a riverbed, and then burst into flames, according to ABC 10.

The CHP is investigating the fatal crash.
