A 3.3-magnitude earthquake struck near Borrego Springs in San Diego County Thursday at 12:32 a.m., according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The earthquake was centered 4.4 miles northeast of Borrego Springs and about 1.5 miles deep.

It was 23.9 miles south of La Quinta, 27 miles southwest of Coachella and 27.9 miles south of Palm Desert.

There were no reports of damage or injuries.
