1 Injured in Commercial Fire Near San Ysidro

One person was injured in a commercial building fire Thursday but opted out of medical treatment.

San Diego Fire & Rescue crews responded to a fire outside an insurance company, located at 181 Willow Road, at around 7:15 a.m.

The victim, who has not yet been identified, was evaluated for burns but was not transported to the hospital for further treatment.

Crews knocked down the fire, and continued to work the scene as of 8:45 a.m.

About 40 personnel from the San Diego station and a fire investigator have been assigned. The cause of the fire has not been determined.
